Gill’s Electric Co., Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor that has been family owned and operated since opening its doors in 1952. Brad Gill, a 30-year veteran of the electrical industry, is the second-generation owner and the son of company founder, Grove Gill. Gill’s Electric specializes in electrical construction, design/build, tenant improvement, remodels, maintenance and repair, voice and computer cabling, fiber optic cabling and audio/video cabling. In 2005 the company acquired Alpha Electronic Systems, a premier provider of LAN, WAN and voice infrastructure. In 2008 they went “green” and added solar design and installation to their offerings.

No job is too large or too small for Gill’s Electric. They’ll take on anything from small service/repair jobs to consulting and full management of multiple- phase construction. Whatever the scope of the project, every job is approached with the same solid work ethic. True believers in the lost art of customer service, they always answer the phone, return messages, stay on schedule and within budget and deliver what they’ve promised.

Since its inception, Gill’s Electric has been instrumental in advancing Bay Area electric services with innovative technology and “outside of the box” thinking. They are the electrical contractor for Lake Merritt’s Necklace of Lights. All electricians are certified by the State of California. Gill’s Electric maintains a fleet of 31 service vehicles and offers lift equipment for indoor/outdoor lighting and sign maintenance. Estimates are free and 24-hour emergency service is available.
